CID Delivered Solution

A set of custom ESS jobs was delivered to Hungarian team users. The solution was implemented by using Oracle BIP Reports with XSL layouts, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle ATP database with Java stored procedures to support unique encryption requirements, Custom Object storage and built-in screens to expose up-to-date communication status with NTCA system.

Integration with Israeli Tax Authorities

Business Case

Integration between Fusion Receivables module and Israeli Tax Authorities (ITA). Business requirement is to get online allocation number for invoices sent to Israeli customers. The process had to be fully integrated with out-of-the-box Print Receivable Transactions seeded Oracle Process.

CID Delivered Solution

A wrapper ESS job was provided. The new ESS job was implemented by using Oracle Integration Cloud and a Custom Object. As the process was designed to run on large data sets it was implemented as asynchronous OIC integration to avoid 5 minutes limits. In order to improve user’s experience, a wrapper ESS Job was created that waited for async OIC completion and provided detailed processing result to the end user as regular ESS output.

Multiple Reporting Entities Management

Business Case

Customer has multiple reporting entities. Every month end financial department needs to run in a certain order 4 seeded Oracle processes for more than 40 reporting entities. Some entities should be reported only once every 2 months, others every month.

CID Delivered Solution

A new custom ESS job was created and it is the only one that is run by user. Single ESS job submission identifies all relevant entities for a given financial period, submits each one in the proper order, collects the results of all invocations and exposes the final results as an attachment on custom object record visible to relevant financial department users. The solution leveraged Oracle BIP, Custom Objects and Oracle Integration Cloud.

Technicians working in Maintenance Work Order screens were requested to search replacement components by using BOM reference designators not available in standard screen. The requirement was to allow technicians search by designators, automatically create replacement asset and document the selected designator in Asset and transaction flexfields.

Redwood design built AppUI extension that utilized extension utilities pack built by CID that allowed AppUI action chain to perform SQL Query on Fusion database and get result in a JSON format. The delivered solutions simplified the user experience and allowed transaction completion in several clicks only.
